CORNISH KINFOLK - Just the place to help find your Cornish Ancestors
We offer a research service for those of you with Cornish Roots, wherever you are in the world. We appreciate that distance does make it difficult for accessing some records and are willing to help those of you who have already begun your own research but have become stuck, as well as helping those of you who are interested in delving into your family tree, but have absolutely no idea where to start or what to do.
It might be that all you want is a little bit of advice, or need help researching a branch of your family tree, or you might want us to help with a full family tree project. Whatever research you require, we will enthusiastically help you - nothing will be too big or too small a request!

We carry out research in Cornwall and depending on discoveries made, are willing to travel further afield, such as to Devon and other counties if you would like this and if we reach an amicable arrangement for such research.
We offer a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic service at reasonable rates and carry out research all over Cornwall. We are able to trace your Cornish ancestors using a wide variety of sources which include Census Returns from 1841 to 1901, Parish and Non-Conformist Registers - some as early as 1538 onwards, Civil Registration of Births, Marriages and Deaths from 1837 onwards, Trade Directories, Monumental Inscriptions, Wills, Newspapers and many, many more.

We also carry out House History Research and, if required, can also undertake Local and Social History Research, Biographical Research and Company History Research. If there is other specific research you would like us to undertake, please email us for initial discussions.
We also offer a Photographic Service whereby we can photograph Churches, your Ancestor's Homes, Public Houses, Factories and other buildings, Gravestones, Streets, Town or Village Scenes (usually if an ancestor's home or gravestone is no longer extant), and in some cases we may be able to supply photographs of original documents that cannot be photocopied because of their age and/or delicateness.
